|I will always remember going to Hang 10 with Kristi, Lorena, Jen, Frank, and Jason, study hall in the library and lounge with Frank and Joe and Kristi, suffering through Advanced Math, Adam Travis and his comments making Government / Economics interesting, the best shorthand class with Patty Oliver and Ms. Gaffney my junior year, suffering through Spanish II plays, the best Spanish IV class ever -- Buena Suerte!, Jen Petro coming to visit me and Kristi Shiban at lunch -- it was always interesting!, and Erica Milliron's Spanish translations.|

|In ten years me and Jay Wawro will be married and totally happy living in a dream home on a tropical island, Kristi Shiban and Jen Petro will still be the best of friends and still be getting in trouble, Cheryl Tretinik and Brian Price will still be together, Renee Sterba and I will still be the biggest Bon Jovi fans, and Cheryl Tretinik and I will still be best friends.|
|NL Jul 27 1994 - Susan Lee Vaughn of Northfield was inducted into the Kent State University chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, the national academic honor society for freshman college and university students.|
Vaughn, a nursing major, also was named to the dean's list.
Alpha Lambda Delta recognizes superior academic performance. Students must have achieved a B-Plus or better grade-point average to be named for membership in one of the honor society's 217 chapters nationwide.

NL Jun 5 1996 - Susan L. Vaughn, a senior nursing student at Kent State University, has been inducted into the Delta Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing. Inductees are chosen according to grade averages, recommendation of faculty members and potential for leadership.
She has also been inducted as a junior into the Golden Key National Honor Society, which chooses the top 15 percent of the junior and senior classes as its members.
She is a 1993 graduate of Nordonia High School and will graduate from Kent State in May of 1997 with a bachelor of science in nursing.
